The regional culture and identity is largely characterized by food and products from the surrounding Lüneburg Heath. Lüneburg Heath Nature Park helps the region's businesses, producers and restaurateurs to preserve the regional food culture and to promote the marketing of specialties.

In particular, weekly markets and cosy farm shops are the places where you can get high quality typical regional food and products directly from the producers, or from local businesses. Of course, this is also dependent on the season. To be really fresh it has to be at the harvest time. That is why we have developed a harvest calendar for you.
